This kit contains two 100g hanks of Lovebug's hand dyed yarn in the Platinum Sock/Sparkle Sock base - hand dyed here in the Wee County, plus a paper copy of the pattern in a cotton project bag. We have put some options together here, or you can go direct to Lovebug's Yarns website to choose your own combinations. It works best with a solid and a variegated colour. You will use most of the main colour hank and a bit over half of the contrast hank. The scarf is knit sideways with short row shaping to create the shape and the little fish - a suprisingly simple knit with striking results. This is knit on a 4mm needle - a circular needle of at least 80cm is recommended to hold the large number of stitches. Needles are not included in the kit but can be purchased separately.
