The Signature 4ply sock yarn range is West Yorkshire Spinners most popular yarn. The sock yarn is soft and hard wearing, comes in loads of complimentary colours, and it's British to boot! The 75% is about half Bluefaced Leicester and half other breeds. All spun in Yorkshire and bearing the British Wool Board logo. Makes great socks, the printed shades (AKA the 'birds' collection) knit up to a patterned effect, with solid and 'fair isle' effect stripes. The solid shades compliment the printed shades. One ball will make an adult pair of socks. It knits to a standard 4ply tension but is better knitted on smaller needles for socks.
