This is an absolutely delicious yarn - 80% Falkland wool, 20% mulberry silk which gives it a beautiful sheen and drape and plenty of squishiness. It's a reasonably substantial laceweight, not intimidatingly fine, and the silk gives it good strength. There's 800 metres (875yards) per 100g hank so plenty for a decent sized shawl. And as with all WYS yarns it's all made in Britain.
