This pattern is for a stranded colourwork cowl using either 2 or 4 hanks of Kinross 4ply in two shades, a hank of each shade will do the shorter cowl, two hanks of each shade will do the longer cowl. The cowl is knitted as a tube and then the open ends are either seamed or grafted together.
