If you fancy trying steeking but are a bit nervous about cutting into a whole cardigan then this kit is an easy starting point. The teacosy is knit like a hat and then the holes for the spout and the handle are cut. The kit includes the yarn (5 Miniballs - a great yarn for steeking) and a paper copy of the pattern which includes full instructions. The steeking method recommended is the crochet reinforcement but you can use it to try out other techniques. The kit does not include needles or a hook but these can be purchased separately, the knitting is done on 3mm needles and a 2.5mm hook is used for the steek reinforcement.
