A handy cotton drawstring project bag with 10 Miniballs arranged in a gradient to make one of the simple shawl shapes listed. The pattern includes instructions for a semi-circular shawl, a top down triangle and a sideways garter stitch triangle. There is enough yarn in the kit to make one of these three options. The kit includes a paper copy of the pattern. Needles are not included but can be purchased separately, 4mm are required, preferably a circular needle to hold a large number of stitches but all three styles are knit flat.
These are very simple styles that are achievable for a beginner, the semi-circle and top down triangle start with a 'garter stitch tab' which is explained in the pattern, then knits and purls and increases. The sideways garter stitch triangle just requires the knit stitch, an increase and a decrease. The simple style allows the colours to really be the focus point.
