This kit contains a braid of five Kinross 4ply miniskeins and the paper copy pattern in a project bag. We have put together five colour combinations but you can request other combinations if you prefer. Each combination features three colours that sit in a gradient with a main colour that contrasts with all 3 for the main motif. You can play around with the colour placement as much as you like though.
The kit does not contain needles, you will need 3mm and 3.25mm for knitting in the round. I prefer a 40cm for the 3mm and the 3.25mm for the body of the hat then switch to a long 3.25mm for the crown, but you can use the magic loop technique throughout, or double pointed needles if you prefer
