For overseas orders please note the total weight for a wrapped calendar is approxmiately 0.75kg. Please take this into account when chosing postage options.
This year's calendar makes a cowl with a graphical theme - think like a picture. It will be a shorter cowl that goes once round the neck, so to use up all your leftovers there will be a bonus cowl pattern with an all-over pattern design. Two cowls for the price of one! This will keep you entertained into the dark days of January.
You get 24 Miniballs (10g/50m of JC Rennie 4ply pure wool) in different colours and a pattern to go with it that uses stranded knitting in the round. Each Miniball is individually wrapped, we do an unwrapped version if you don't like surprises! Each day you get a new colour and a new part of the pattern. The photo shows previous year's but this year will have different motifs and colours. Needles are not included - a 3.25mm 40cm circular or DPNs would be ideal which can be purchased separately. If you don't fancy making the pattern included we have several patterns that use 3-15 Miniballs that can be downloaded for free at the 'Free Patterns' section.

We also do a Kinross 4ply version in 2 colours and a Kinross/Miniball combination version with the Kinross as the background and 12 Miniball foreground colours. The Kinross is softer than the Miniballs when washed so if you find the JC Rennie yarn a little scratchy for wearing around the neck you may want to consider these options. The pattern is the same for all 2026 options.
