This year's calendar makes a cowl with a graphical theme - think like a picture. It will be a shorter cowl that goes once round the neck, so to use up all your leftovers there will be a bonus cowl pattern with an all-over pattern design. Two cowls for the price of one! This will keep you entertained into the dark days of January.
Miniballs have amazing colours, the Kinross 4ply is beautifully soft, so why not go for the best of both worlds!
With this kit you get 100g of Kinross 4ply in one colour and use that as the background throughout the cowl. You also get 12 different coloured Miniballs to use as the foreground, giving you 220g of yarn in total. You will use a new Miniball for 2 days of the pattern then move on to the next Miniball, keeping the background the same. This means you get a colourful cowl but it will be softer than the Miniball version using the Kinross throughout. You will be using two types of pure wool 4ply but they work really well together.
